Type 1 Diabetes
InRange offers expert support to help you manage your diabetes effectively. We empower you to achieve your health, fitness and mental health goals, related to your diabetes. With our guidance, you can increase your time in range, improve your HbA1c levels, and navigate insulin pump management, including insulin pump upgrades. We provide strategies to prevent low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and prevent high blood sugar (hyperglycemia), ultimately helping you achieve long-term well-being while living with Type 1 diabetes.
Type 1 in Pregnancy
Expert support from someone who understands. Living with type 1 diabetes during pregnancy presents unique challenges. At InRange, Isabel’s personal journey empowers her to provide compassionate and effective support for women navigating pregnancy with type 1 diabetes. We focus on achieving healthy blood glucose control and a healthy baby through comprehensive care during pre-conception planning, pregnancy, and postpartum.
Insulin Pump Starts & Upgrades
Insulin Pump Training & Upgrade Services. Looking for expert assistance with insulin pump starts or upgrades? InRange provides customised training and support to ensure you’re comfortable and informed. Benefit from our pre-start guidance and accessible email/phone troubleshooting. Insulin pump upgrades can often be completed in about an hour and can even be done via telehealth!
Type 2 Diabetes & Insulin Pumps
Managing Type 2 Diabetes with insulin pumps: learn about benefits & affordable consumables in Australia. Struggling to manage your insulin-dependent type 2 diabetes? InRange offers convenient video conferencing appointments, bringing expert diabetes education directly to you. For those in regional areas with limited internet access, we also provide supportive phone appointments. Get the diabetes management guidance you need, no matter your location.
Appointment Fees
At InRange Diabetes, we aim to be transparent about our costs. Our fees reflect the high level of expert care and time provided by our endorsed Nurse Practitioners and Credentialed Diabetes Educators.
1. Nurse Practitioner Consults
Available for Face-to-Face appointments or Telehealth clients who have had an In-Person consult within the last 12 months. These fees also apply to consultations with a Nurse Practitioner at our Regional Clinics.

Medicare Rebates for Nurse Practitioners
The rebate amount depends on the length of your consultation. We can process these rebates for you at the time of payment.

Bulk billing or a reducation in consultation fees is available at the clinician's discretion based on individual client needs.
2. Nurse Practitioner Telehealth Services
For clients who are telehealth-only and have not had a face-to-face consult within the last year.
- Fee Range: $20.00 – $180.00 (Depending on complexity and need).
- Note: Medicare rebates are generally not available for telehealth-only items unless certain criteria are met. Please discuss your circumstances with us.
3. Diabetes Educator Services
Our Credentialed Diabetes Educators (CDE) provide expert support for daily management and technology. A GP Management Plan (GPMP) is required for all consultations.

4. Specialised Programs
Insulin Pump Start
A comprehensive program to transition you safely and confidently to pump therapy.
- Investment: $100.00 – $400.00 (Determined by clinician discretion and client need).
- What’s Included: This fee includes one month of free or bulk-billed contact and troubleshooting support to ensure your settings are optimised and you feel confident with your new technology.
5. Important Information
- Payment: Fees are payable on the day of your appointment. You will be required to pay the full cost of your appointment at the time of your consultation. We will then process the Medicare claim for you. The rebate is typically paid into your nominated bank account within 24–48 hours.
- Cancellations: We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations to avoid a fee.
- Third-Party Supported Services: At times, InRange Diabetes participates in programs supported by third parties (such as medical device companies) to help make technology and specialist support more accessible. In these instances, the service may be provided at no cost. You will be clearly informed if this applies to your session, and these arrangements never influence our clinical recommendations.
